Walleye:

Maybe the most sought after fish of the Iowa Great Lakes. New slot limit  regulations by the Iowa DNR has greatly improved the walleye on Spirit Lake & Okoboji. The upcoming year promises to be great walleye fishing for The Iowa Guide clients.
Bass: Smallmouth & Largemouth
The Iowa Great Lakes are fantastic bass waters. There are weed beds and rockbars everywhere. Big fish can be caught on a variety of lures. With the Iowa Guide's help you will know exactly what lures to throw and where to throw them. Come catch a trophy.
Panfish:
Bluegill, perch, and crappie are prized when fishing Spirit Lake & Okoboji. These scrappy fighters are called panfish for a reason, as they taste great.
Yellow Bass:
These overlooked, hard fighters are a favorite of The Iowa Guide. Yellow bass are very aggressive fish that attack baits with a vengeance. Yellow bass are an very good to eat and an invasive species so The Iowa Guide wants you to keep them all. If you are looking to fill the freezer or have a big family fish fry come catch a bunch of yellows.
