2013 was a fantastic year on the Iowa Great Lakes. The Iowa Guide clients enjoyed both good numbers of fish and good average size for every species. We saw Iowa Master Angler fish for both largemouth and smallmouth bass, as well as yellow bass. Walleye fishing continued to improve due to the slot limit. The bluegill fishing was as good as The Iowa Guide has seen in 20 years and better than average pike showed up often. Muskies also bent the rods and pulled the drag for a few lucky anglers. The fishing should be just as good in 2014 so;
